Are 100% Free Foreclosure Listings Possible?
Do free foreclosure listings exist with no strings attached? You bet!
In fact some of the “paid” foreclosure listings out there are simply a compilation of listings that were obtained for free! So where do you find them? The newspaper is always a great place to look for current listings.
Hector Milla Editor of the “Free Home Foreclosure Listings” website — http://www.FreeHomeForeclosureListings.net — pointed out;
“…There are auctions posted all the time for properties being foreclosed on for a number of reasons. People who fail to pay property taxes will have their estate listed in the newspaper prior to the actual foreclosure and sometimes you can snag these properties up at bottom of the barrel prices!…”
The internet is also a great place to search for free listings. There are paid listings available online as well, but there are a number of different places where you can find them 100% for free. Some websites are devoted entirely to listing free foreclosures and benefit entirely from ad generated revenue. Simply look around and stay away from any website that claims to offer free listings but simultaneously asks for credit card information. There is no legitimate reason for a website offering a free service to ask for your credit card when it comes to real estate. Beware other sites that will allow you access to free listings but only after you complete one of their “special offers”.
“…This type of website is also unethical and should definitely be avoided. Newspapers and the Internet are the two best primary sources out there for free listings. Certain types of magazines will occasionally offer them as well but all this information can easily be obtained online so why bother with them? You can also perform searches for real estate blogs instead of looking for websites entirely devoted to free listings. A person may have posted information pointing you to free listings you may not have found otherwise. Free listings are everywhere if you are just willing to take the time to search…” added H. Milla.
